Community Partners

Cornerstone recognizes that we are not able to stand alone as we seek to fulfill our mission.  We need partnerships to extend our reach and deepen our impact. We currently collaborate with Mercy Health Laboratory Services in our Medical Clinic for our STI testing.

We are also partnering with The City of Elyria Health Department and the Ohio Infant Mortality Reduction Initiative (OIMRI) to promote safe sleep practices and to provide smoking cessation classes.

On a spiritual level, we are part of a local para-church ministry “Synergy” that meets to pray together and discuss the spiritual climate in Lorain county.  This includes such ministries as: BUSES International, God Cares Ministry, Love INC Lorain county, and Advent Ministries/Industries.

Lastly, there are numerous local churches who support us in prayer, monies, gifts in kind, and volunteer time.

Thanks to the faithfulness of our community partners our impact has widened and the imprint of our ministry is being felt across Lorain and Western Cuyahoga Counties.
